Bio

I am an avid observer and photographer of all things wild and am especially interested in birds. Born in Botswana, I spent my childhood in Southern Africa moving to the UK aged 14.

Southern Africa and Brazil are two of my all time favourite destinations for bird and wildlife photography. I also love the birds in and around my home in South West London and am a frequent early bird visitor to Bushy Park and Home Park, next to Hampton Court.

 

I came to Ilha Grande in Brazil in March 2020 for a two week holiday which turned into a 3 month+ stay as a result travel restrictions linked to the Covid-19 pandemic.

 

So with plenty of time to observe and photograph the stunning I thought I would finally do what I had been planning for a long time and start a bird blog. The rest of the site seemed a natural development from that.
